NEET 2026 photo and signature resizer

The NEET (UG) 2026 information bulletin asks for a JPG photograph of 10 to 200 KB, a signature of 10 to 100 KB, and finger and thumb impressions. It does not state a pixel size, so the tool frames the photo to the passport shape and lets you adjust it.

No sign-up. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Free trial: 1 run of Resize Image to KB every day. After that, 2 credits per run.

What the photo must show

A recent photo taken on or after 1 January 2026, on a white background, with the face filling about 80% of the frame and both ears visible. Colour or black and white are both accepted, and a mask is not. Keep a print of the same photo, because it is also pasted at the exam centre.

Why the finger impression range is 50 to 200 KB

The bulletin states two different ranges for the finger and thumb file: 10 to 200 KB in one place and 50 to 300 KB in another. A file between 50 and 200 KB meets both, so that is the range this preset aims for.

Questions

Can I edit my NEET photo background?

Do not. The bulletin treats computer-made or fabricated photos as unfair means, and a live photo is also matched at the centre. Retake the photo against a plain white wall instead.

What pixel size should a NEET photo be?

NTA gives only the KB range and a passport-size shape, so any clear photo in that shape works. The preset starts at 413 x 531 pixels, which is 35 x 45 mm at 300 dpi, and you can change it.

My signature file is too small. What now?

Scan or photograph the signature larger, or turn off "Whiten the paper", which makes the file compress more. The result line shows exactly how many bytes it is.
