Reduce image size to 100 KB

One hundred KB is the upper limit for the NEET and JEE Main signatures and the IBPS handwritten declaration, and a typical cap on general upload forms. It leaves room for good detail, so the tool often keeps the full pixel size and only trims quality.

No sign-up. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Free trial: 1 run of Resize Image to KB every day. After that, 2 credits per run.

Documents and declarations

Handwritten pages and ID cards photographed on a phone often carry shadows. "Whiten the paper" lifts the page to white and darkens the ink, which reads better and takes fewer bytes than a grey background.

When 100 KB is the minimum instead

Some rules set a floor, such as the IBPS declaration at 50 to 100 KB. Use that exam rule or a custom range, so a file that compresses too well is caught before the portal rejects it.

Questions

Is 100 KB enough for a clear photo?

For the sizes forms ask for, usually yes. A 100 KB limit mostly matters for large originals, which are reduced in pixels only as far as needed to fit.

Can I reduce several images to 100 KB at once?

This tool handles one image at a time so each can be framed and checked. For a batch of photos going into one document, Compress PDF to KB can combine them into a single file under a limit.

Why is the result much smaller than 100 KB?

The tool never adds size for its own sake. If the image fits at top quality well under the limit, nothing is gained by making it bigger, and a smaller file uploads faster.
