Bug reports are particularly welcome, especially if you can say which tool, which browser and what the file looked like. Please do not attach the file itself.

Message details

What happened, which tool you were using, and which browser.

What makes a bug report easy to act on

Most reports that go nowhere are missing one of four things. The tool you were using, named by its page. The browser and whether it was on a phone or a computer. What you expected to happen, and what happened instead. And the shape of the input — a 40 MB scanned PDF behaves very differently from a two-page text document, even though both are PDFs.

If a tool showed an error message, quoting it exactly helps more than describing it. The messages on this site are deliberately specific, so the wording usually identifies which check failed.

Please do not attach the file itself. Nearly every tool here runs in your browser and we never receive your documents; sending one to describe a problem would hand over something the site was built to avoid holding. A description of its size, format and roughly what it contains is both safer and more useful.
