What these results are, and are not
The finance calculators apply standard, published formulas to the numbers you enter. They know nothing about your circumstances, your lender’s fees or the terms of any actual agreement, so a figure produced here is an illustration rather than a quotation and is not financial advice.
The nutrition calculator estimates from a food composition database. Real ingredients vary by variety, ripeness, cut, brand and preparation, so treat every figure as approximate. It is not medical or dietary advice and must not be used to manage a medical condition or an allergy.

How to read what these calculators give you
Compare totals, not monthly figures
A longer loan term lowers the instalment and raises the total interest considerably. The amortisation schedule shows both, which is the comparison that actually matters when two offers look similar.
Expect the final payment to differ
Every instalment is rounded to two decimal places, and those roundings accumulate. The last payment absorbs the difference so the balance closes at exactly zero, which is what a real amortisation does too.
Check the rate is per year
Both finance calculators take an annual rate. A monthly rate entered here understates the interest twelvefold, and it is the single most common way one of these results goes wrong.
Currency changes the label only
Choosing pounds, dollars, euros or rupees changes the formatting and nothing else. The arithmetic is identical, so a figure can be read in whichever currency suits the conversation.
The interest and loan calculators run entirely in your browser, so the amounts you type are never transmitted. The nutrition calculator looks ingredient names up with an external service, so those names are sent.
