Read text, tables, equations and interfaces out of pictures
These are the tools that turn an image into something you can edit: handwritten pages into text, printed tables into spreadsheets, equations into LaTeX or Word, and screenshots of interfaces into front-end code.
Every tool in this category sends your content to an external provider to do the reading. That is stated on each page before you submit, and it is the honest trade: this work is not possible on-device at usable quality. Nothing is logged, and results are always editable because checking them against your source is part of the job.
Which AI & OCR tool do you need?
Handwritten notes or letters
Handwriting to Text supports well over a hundred languages across every major writing system, from images or PDFs.
A printed table
Image to Excel reads it into an editable grid and exports a real workbook, keeping every cell as text so codes survive.
Mathematics
Image to LaTeX for a single equation, Equation to Word for a batch, Math Document to Word for whole pages.
A screenshot of an interface
Image to Code targets seven frameworks; Image to HTML produces a standalone page. Both need review.
Text in another language
Translate handles the text once you have it, with automatic source detection and optional tone presets.
Questions about AI & OCR tools
Why do these tools transmit my content when nothing else on the site does?
Because this work cannot be done on a device at usable quality. Reading handwriting, a printed table or a screenshot needs a large vision model that does not fit in a browser tab, so the trade is made explicit rather than hidden.
Is my content logged or stored?
Not by us. The handlers for these routes never log the uploaded image, the extracted text or the generated result. The provider performing the recognition operates under its own terms, which the privacy page sets out.
How accurate is the recognition?
It varies with image quality, handwriting and layout, and has not been independently measured, so no figure is claimed. Every result is editable and shown alongside your source so you can check it before relying on it.
How do I get the best result?
Photograph straight on in even light, crop tightly to the content you want read, and set the correct language where the tool asks. A skewed or shadowed image costs far more accuracy than untidy handwriting does.
What happens if a provider is not configured?
The tool fails closed. A request returns an honest error rather than an invented answer, and any credits held for it are refunded rather than spent on nothing.
