Compress PDF to 200 KB
Two hundred KB gives room for a few scanned pages or one detailed colour page. The tool keeps resolution as high as the limit allows, so stamps, signatures and small print stay legible.
No sign-up. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Free trial: 1 run of Compress PDF to KB every day. After that, 2 credits per run.
Colour or black and white
Keep colour for documents where a coloured stamp or photo matters, such as an identity card. For typed certificates, black and white roughly halves the space each page needs, which leaves more for resolution.
Keeping the page order right
Pages can be moved up and down and rotated before the PDF is made. Check the order in the list, because portals often reject a certificate whose second page comes first.
Questions
Is 200 KB the same as 0.2 MB?
Roughly. Portals count differently, so the tool keeps the file at or below 200,000 bytes, which also passes a limit of 200 x 1,024 bytes.
Why did my text become an image?
Hitting a fixed size means redrawing pages as images. Keep your original PDF for printing or editing, and upload the compressed copy.
Can I combine two PDFs into one 200 KB file?
Add the files together; their pages are listed in order and saved as one PDF. Reorder the pages in the list before making the PDF.
