Merge PDF
Join any number of PDF files into a single document. Reorder the files and the output follows that order exactly.
Runs in your browser — nothing is uploadedFree trial: 1 run of Merge PDF every day. After that, 2 credits per run.
Combine several PDFs into one document, in the order you choose
Merge up to 30 PDFs into a single document of up to 3,000 pages, with the order set before anything is written. Each file may be up to 150 MB. The merge runs inside this page — your files are read into the browser and rebuilt there, so nothing is uploaded, and your first merge each day needs no account.
What Merge PDF gives you
Up to 30 files at once
Add the whole set rather than merging in pairs. The result may run to 3,000 pages.
Order you control
Move any file up or down until the sequence is right. Nothing is written until you press Merge.
Pages copied, not re-rendered
Text stays selectable and searchable, and photographs are not put through another round of compression.
Runs in your browser
The PDF library loads on demand and the work happens on your device, so there is no upload step.
Clear refusal on unreadable files
An encrypted or damaged PDF is named rather than failing silently part-way through the set.
How to use Merge PDF
Add your PDF files
Drag them in or browse. You need at least two before merging becomes available.
Set the order
The list shows the sequence pages will appear in. Rearrange until it matches your document.
Merge
The pages are copied into a new document on your own device.
Check and download
Confirm the reported page count, then download. Your originals are untouched.

Questions about Merge PDF
Are my documents uploaded?
No. The merge runs in your browser with pdf-lib; the bytes never leave the device.
Are form fields and bookmarks kept?
Page content, images and vector graphics carry across. Interactive form fields and document-level bookmarks are not copied, because pages are re-embedded individually.
How do I combine PDF files for free without uploading them?
Add them to this page and press merge. The whole operation runs in your browser using a library that loads on demand, so the documents never leave your device. The first merge each day is free and needs no account; after that, each merge costs 2 credits.
Why will one of my PDFs not open?
It is almost always password-protected. This tool does not decrypt documents, so open the file in a PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, and add that instead. Damaged files fail the same way and are named so you know which one to fix.
Does merging reduce quality or make the file smaller?
Neither. Pages are copied across whole rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images are not recompressed. The combined file is roughly the sum of its parts — run Compress PDF afterwards if it is too large to email.
Will my fillable form fields and bookmarks survive?
No. Pages are re-embedded individually, and form fields and document-level bookmarks live above the page level, so they are not carried across. Flatten forms in your PDF editor before merging if you need to keep the filled values.
How do I get twenty scans into the right order quickly?
Name them so they sort correctly before you add them — a leading 01, 02, 03 does it. The list still lets you move any file, but starting from the right order saves reordering by hand.
Who typically needs to merge PDFs?
Legal and administrative teams assembling exhibit bundles and signed contract sets where a continuous document is part of the record; students joining chapters and scanned references into one submission; and finance staff combining a quarter of invoices into the single attachment a system will accept.
