Images to PDF

Combine JPEG, PNG and WebP images into a single PDF with a chosen page size, orientation, margin and fitting behaviour.

Runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded

Free trial: 1 run of Images to PDF every day. After that, 2 credits per run.

Turn photographs and scans into one properly laid-out PDF

Build a document from up to 100 JPEG, PNG or WebP files, in the order you set. Paper sizes cover both conventions — A3, A4 and A5 for most of the world, Letter, Legal and Tabloid for the US and Canada — plus a fit-to-image mode that sizes each page to its picture. Margins, orientation, fill mode and the background behind transparent areas are yours to set, and the build runs in your browser.

What Images to PDF gives you

Paper sizes for every region

A3, A4 and A5 alongside Letter, Legal and Tabloid, in portrait or landscape.

Fit-to-image pages

Give each image a page of its own dimensions — ideal for screenshots that should not be boxed into paper.

Four ways to fill the page

Contain keeps the whole image visible, cover fills and trims, stretch distorts to fit, actual size maps pixel to point.

Margin presets

None, small, medium or large, applied consistently so the document looks deliberate.

Background colour for transparency

PDF pages have no alpha channel, so you choose the colour transparent pixels are composited onto.

How to use Images to PDF

Up to 100 JPEG, PNG or WebP files, each up to 50 MB.

Questions about Images to PDF

Which page sizes are available?

Fit-to-image, plus A3, A4, A5, Letter, Legal and Tabloid in portrait or landscape.

What happens to transparency?

PDF pages have no alpha channel, so transparent pixels are composited onto the chosen background colour.

How do I convert JPG images to one PDF?

Add up to 100 JPEG, PNG or WebP files, put them in the order you want, choose a paper size, and build. The document is assembled in your browser, so the pictures are never uploaded.

Why is my photograph sideways in the PDF?

Phones record rotation as an EXIF flag rather than turning the pixels, and that flag is not read here. Your gallery honours it, so the picture looks upright there and sideways in the document. Rotate it in an image editor first and the saved pixels will be correct.

Which paper size should I choose?

A4 for most of the world, Letter for the United States and Canada, and the tool offers both alongside A3, A5, Legal and Tabloid. For screenshots, pick fit-to-image instead — forcing a wide screenshot onto portrait A4 leaves large empty bands.

What is the difference between contain, cover and stretch?

Contain scales until the whole image fits inside the margins, so nothing is lost. Cover fills the area and trims whatever overflows. Stretch distorts the picture to fit exactly. Use contain for receipts, certificates and diagrams where every part matters.

What happens to transparent areas?

PDF pages have no alpha channel, so transparency has to be flattened onto something solid. You choose that colour rather than having white forced on you, which matters for a transparent logo headed for a dark page.

Does this make the text in my photographs searchable?

No. The pictures are embedded as pictures, so any writing in them stays part of an image. To get editable text out of a photograph, use Handwriting to Text, or Image to Excel for a table.
